My name is Esther, I'm a certified English teacher, and in 2019 I started tutoring French. I've lived in different countries (France, Spain, UK, Canada, India, Germany, currently Sweden) and I'm passionate about languages.

I'm patient and supportive. I do know that mistakes are part of the process and I offer a humane approach. I like to have a friendly relationship with my students as long as there's mutual respect.

POLICY
Italki doesn't allow less than 24h cancellations but I forgive 2/year because I know that sometimes things happen (sickness, emergency) but I cannot allow more as an hour not taught is an hour not paid.

I organize my lessons according to your needs, the vocabulary you want to learn or the level you want to reach. I use a variety of materials and techniques. You want to learn in a funny way? I can provide games, activities based on movies, songs... You want to learn in a intense way? No problem either!

She is the best teacher and I feel like I have learned more in a few months with Esther than I have in years of studying French in school/using other applications. She’s wonderful, so kind, incredibly motivating and encouraging, and I genuinely enjoy every second of my lessons with her. The time absolutely FLIES and I look forward to them every week! I have to wake up at 430am my time for the lessons and I am SO excited and happy to do so every time.

We've been with Esther for a long while; I believe it's been about 2 years now. She has always been just wonderful. I appreciate her patience and preparedness for the lessons. She always meets my kids right where they are academically. Bref, she's a treasure.

It was my first class with Esther and I am so happy I chose her. The class was very enjoyable, I felt more than comfortable to make mistakes and she put me at ease. She is a great teacher, patient, enthusiastic and warm. She adapts her lessons to the individuals needs.
