My name is Nicky and I’m a native-speaking, born and bred Londoner with a clear London accent.
I’m a British accent and vocal coach with several years experience teaching the British accent, singing/speaking and diction.
My focus is on teaching you the sounds and habits of native speakers in the South East of England, which I have studied and continue to study obsessively.
I teach you the beauty of the lovely ‘Southern’ accent and you will learn and practise the habits of native speakers that you will NEVER EVER LEARN FROM A BOOK or YouTube.

Learning to speak English with correct pronunciation is a crucial element of English communication. Speaking with a clear accent makes it easy for others to understand you, which improves the quality of your communication with other English speakers.
All students who attend my lessons are initially ASSESSED and following this receive personalised teaching; where classes are planned in advance and in keeping with your accent needs. We learn the crucial sounds and rhythm of English through drilling, reading and conversation.

From the moment I began working with Nicky, I knew I'd made the right choice. Her lessons were exactly what I had in mind when I was seeking a teacher to help me refine my accent. Nicky's personality is absolutely delightful, making her classes not only challenging and productive but also enjoyable. Also, the online resources that Nicky recommended have been extremely useful. I absolutely love having lessons with Nicky. We've only had 3 meetings together and I can already see a huge progress. But it's not only me - people around me notice it too and I keep getting compliments me on my improved accent all the time :)
So obviously the lessons are very effective, but they are also full of fun! Nicky is very enegaging, enthusiastic about teaching and she provides her own materials which are great for practicing my accent throughout the week.
I highly recommend to give it a go and book a trial lesson. Getting a personalised feedback will allow you to progress so much faster than if you tried to learn only from youtube videos or textbooks!
