こうすけ(Kousuke)

Kousuke is a gem! I used to pay $$$ for a teacher and in the trial and 1 full lesson I've taken with him, I have learned more. He also speaks a fair bit of Japanese in your lesson but it comes across so naturally I didn't pick up on just how much Japanese he was speaking and how much I understood just purely from context and he reused the Japanese he (for lack of a better word) snuck in. I am absolutely thrilled with his lessons, over the mood. You know that meme pic of Fry from futurama who like "TAKE MY MONEY"... that perfectly sums up how I feel after taking lessons with Kousuke because it was awesome.

こうすけ先生はいつも丁寧で、やさしいせんせいですよ！ 文法のクラスでも、会話のクラスでも　とても上手な先生です。Italkiで　こうすけさんは　最もすばらしい先生の一人と思います。いつもありがとうございます！ Kousuke is a kind and talented teacher, probably one of the very best on Italki! He is friendly, polite, and very easy to talk to. He uses words and vocabulary to fit your level and challenge you just a little bit and always finds fun topics to talk about. You can also let him know if you want to talk about something in particular too! He is very open and accepting which is really important to me as a LGBTQ person. I have been taking lessons with him for around a year now and my Japanese has improved drastically, especially in being able to hold basic conversations and talk about things I may not yet have the specialized vocabulary for. Please, if you are considering booking with Kousuke, just do it! He is great!

Kousuke-San is great. I learnt allot of vocabulary in a structured and safe environment. Then I get to test it out in sentences which is very helpful. I'm beginning to be able to hold short, very basic conversations after only 2 lessons. Highly recommended

Kousuke先生 was a pleasure to talk to in Japanese! This was my first session with him, and I am already looking forward to our next class. He introduced new vocabulary to me at a comfortable pace, and made the conversation flow very naturally! He has a very positive and supportive personality. Would recommend him to anyone wanting to practice and learn more Japanese.
